Hello!

Thank you so much for checking out this page. 🙂 I’m super excited you’re interested in learning more about my mission trip to South Africa & Eswatini!

I’m so excited! I think it’ll allow for so much personal growth and for our team to have an amazing impact on the people we have the privilege of meeting in Africa.

If you don’t know me well, some random fun facts are… I love meeting new people, traveling (wouldn’t you know), fashion, basically all things arts and crafts, being involved at church, my friends, reading my Bible, being outside, gardening, snowboarding, laughing, lattes, and trying random foods haha!

I have been wanting to go on a mission trip of this duration for awhile! I graduated from Western Michigan University with a major in Global Studies and minors in Marketing and Spanish in December 2017. Since then I’ve continued to grow in my relationship with God, make new friends and serve at my church. I have also been on staff as an Administrative Assistant at a learning center at my local church where I’ve gotten to help the mission of loving families and young children by caring for them well and teaching them of God’s love.

I look forward to not only loving the children of South Africa/Eswatini while on the mission field, but also hearing stories from and investing in the lives of the older generation there as well. We’ll consider it such a privilege to share God’s life-changing plan of redemption with each soul we encounter!

World Race partners with other missions by sending volunteers to serve in various countries. In a nutshell, myself and a team of about 16 others will be serving in orphanages and focusing on evangelism, Bible studies, and after school programs.

A sad statistic is 12% of Eswatini’s total population is made up of orphaned children. Practically, in Eswatini, our team will help provide orphaned children with food, clean water, shelter, and education. South Africa is one of the most prosperous countries in Africa, however, millions there still live in poverty. We’ll be serving South Africa by partnering with Global Leadership Academy – an amazing Christian school that even equips students with missionary training so they can make a difference in South Africa, Africa, and the world!

I’m looking forward to being able to practically give to (Galatians 2:10), build relationships with (John 13:34-35), and share Jesus’s simple message of salvation (Mark 16:15) with the children and adults we meet in Africa.

Thank you again for popping onto this page! Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about the trip or giving towards it.

I pray you are encouraged, strengthened and full of joy as you go about your week! 🙂 <3
